The most populous, diverse, multinational place in the world is the Caucasus. This young mountain range, which is located between the Black Sea and the Caspian Lake, has a harsh, but very beautiful nature, which is surrounded by several states and republics. This small piece of land is home to about 140 different nationalities and 62 ethnic groups, with different culture, tradition, language, religion, character. The people here are very gloomy, serious, tough and strong, but very generous and magnanimous.

We have widespread hospitality. In any place, wherever you go in the Caucasus, you will be invited to visit, treated and helped with whatever they can. And I saw the same hospitality in Turkey, when volunteers and the local people generously received me!

My name is Khazri Sadiq, I am 22 years old, a student at Tbilisi State University. I came to Ankara from the Caucasus - and in particular from Georgia.
I am a volunteer and I am in Turkey for the first time.
Volunteering in Turkey is a great feeling. We do various activities that are very important in our time. And even more so we do all this together with other volunteers from different countries.
Here I saw a lot of different good people from other countries and we immediately became friends.
I already have friends: from Italy, Spain, Macedonia, Romania, Turkey. Unlike my people, the local people, as well as volunteers from different countries, have a softer character and peculiar behavior.
It is very interesting for me to watch them and every day I am more and more surprised at the diversity of people and more and more I like to be here.
All peoples are very different from each other and I begin to think how colorful and beautiful this world is.
